Interested in Print Modeling or Commercials? Here a three tips to get started!

1. Get commercial professional head shots taken. Commercial head shots should be warm and friendly. A natural smile is always great!

2. Create a profile on ActorsAccess.com and CastingNetworks.com websites. All agents require you have a profile before working together. You will also be able to submit yourself for auditions on these sites too!

3. Get an Agent. Here is a list of agents I love in NYC and you can also do a Google search. Most of them have places on the websites to submit yourself for representation. A red flag to look out for is if an agency ask you for any money up front or are selling photo packages. Agents only get 10% after booking. You can also sign up for paid workshops and meetings with agents and casting directors at Actors Connection, The Actors Green Room and, One on One.

I hope these tips help you get started! One last tip! When I first started in 2008, I took a commercial class with Brooke and Mary. They are amazing commercial casting directors. I meet most of the agents I work with at one of their workshops. Check them out!
